Ecuador

One of my bucket list destinations for years was the Galapagos Islands, part of Ecuador. I had seen photos and read about this magical place that is the only place some animals exist in the world. I finally got my wish to spend two weeks touring four of the islands.

I can highly recommend the touring company we chose for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was called Galakiwi and I selected it based on its alluring website, great reputation and reviews, and the combination of land/sea. I looked at some cruises where you would sleep on a boat and go from island to island, but I wanted to experience more of the land and the towns. It was an excellent choice.
