The only place I’ve been in Indonesia are the islands of Bali and Lombok (which are located right next to each other). Mike and I spent two weeks touring these two islands in May 2018. We organized this trip through a company called G Adventures, which provides many active tours around the world. I had heard a lot about G Adventures but had never booked them before due to their higher prices. After checking out many different tours in this area, I decided this one offered the best itinerary. We had absolutely no regrets and would highly recommend this company. They call their tour leaders CEOs (for Chief Experience Officer) – great title, right? The leaders are usually local tour guides that know best their country or area, and that is what makes it authentic.
