France
Because Switzerland (where I live) borders France, I’ve been to many places in this big country over the years. Most places are within driving distance but could take up to twelve hours to cross the country. I will be telling you about the following places I’ve been to in France:
- Aix-les-Bains
- Alsace
- Annecy
- Ardeche region
- Biarritz
- Bretagne region (Mont St. Michel)
- Chambery
- Chamonix
- Corsica
- Hossegor
- Loire Valley
- Monaco
- Nice
- Paris
- Provence region
- St. Tropez

Corsica (Northern part)
Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean but is officially part of France. It’s a very rugged island with mountains and cliffs. This is one of those places I would return to because of its immense beauty. I planned our 1-week driving tour around the northern half of the island. We stayed at different hotels along the way, all carefully hand-picked by me. No disappointment in the perfect itinerary that I prepared!
Because I love nature and hiking, I made sure to plan a few days in the center part where there are gorgeous mountains and amazing hikes.
